Previous experience working in schools or with children in a care or support capacity is desirable, but not essential. What matters most is your ability to build positive relationships with young learners, your adaptability, and your genuine interest in helping children reach their potential. While this is primarily a classroom-based role, you may also be asked to support during breaktimes to help ensure the safety and well-being of the students.
Main Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support, helping to make the curriculum accessible and engaging
• Promote independence, confidence and self-regulation in students
• Collaborate with class teachers and SENCo to meet individual needs
• Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction through praise and consistency
• Help create a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environment
Essential Criteria:
• Available to work Monday to Friday, 8:30-15:30 (term-time only)
• Right to work in the UK - we are unable to offer sponsorship or accept Skilled Worker visas
