We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support our Trust partner secondary schools across Nottinghamshire.
About the Role
As an SEN TA in our mainstream Secondary schools, you will:
Provide tailored support to children with a range of SEND needs Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver individual learning plans Support pupils with communication, social, emotional, and behavioural needs Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment Promote independence, confidence, and positive learning attitudes Assist with interventions, small-group activities, and one-to-one support Contribute to progress assessments and daily reports where required
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have:
Experience supporting children with SEND (including autism, communication needs, learning difficulties, or SEMH) A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare, or similar (desirable) Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships An understanding of EHCPs and personalised support strategies A passion for helping children achieve their full potential Enhanced, Child Only DBS on the update service or willingness to apply A willingness to be part of a collaborative and caring school team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
