Teaching Assistant
- Salary: £14.63 per hour
- Location: Wyre
- Job Type: Full-time
- 08:45 - 15:15
- Start April until July 2026
Join our team at a school in Wyre as a Teaching Assistant, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to a friendly and supportive environment. This role is ideal for someone wishes to work across EYF/Year 1/ Year 2 and who is looking for ongoing professional development opportunities.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in the delivery of daily lessons and educational activities tailored to the needs of KS1 students.
- Support the classroom teacher in preparing materials and setting up activities.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Work closely with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning material.
- Participate in and supervise students during school activities and outings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
- Experience in a teaching assistant role or similar educational position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- TA2 qualification or other relevant certification
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to professional growth and development.
