Teaching Assistant Annual Salary: £16,000 - £21,000 (pro rata) Location: West Sussex Job Type: Full Time, Term Time We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in students' lives and assisting them in overcoming challenges to achieve their educational goals. Day-to-day of the role: Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance and assistance. Work closely with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and ensure all activities are suitable for students' needs. Assist in the development of social skills and positive behaviour through direct interaction and engagement. Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Facilitate small group sessions and one-to-one support, focusing on academic and personal development. Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students and assist them in accessing the curriculum effectively.
