You will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning, delivering engaging activities, and creating a positive, inclusive environment where every child can succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering high‑quality learning across the curriculum.

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils of varying abilities.

• Assist in planning and delivering creative, engaging activities that promote progress.

• Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.

• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

Requirements:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

• A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience working in a school setting is desirable but not essential.

• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.

This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about education and eager to play an active part in helping pupils grow, learn, and flourish throughout their school experience.

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
