Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support – Autism)

Location: Norton Canes, Staffordshire

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Contract: Temporary to potential long-term, depending on the right candidate

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are looking for a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly SEND school in Norton Canes. This rewarding role involves working on a 1:1 basis with a child who has mild autism (ASD), supporting their learning, confidence, and social development throughout the school day.

This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference — and could become an ongoing role, supporting the same child as they progress through school.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years. xbpsjku
