The Team Leader will be working as part of an exciting team to deliver the food & beverage and operations.Job Type: Full TimeHourly Rate: £14.45phJOB SUMMARYThe purpose of this role is to provide effective leadership of the team and to deliver excellent customer service and high-quality products that will meet the standards required by our clients.Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:GeneralSupport Benugo's vision around People, Product, Customers, Environment, and Profitability.Continuously work towards improving sales and service, ensuring the customer experience is maintained at the highest standard from front and back of house.Lead and motivate the team through ongoing evaluations, listening, and training.Assist the Manager in the day-to-day running of the shop and act as deputy in their absence.Organize the team on each shift and allocate duties as necessary.Liaise with FOH and BOH teams to ensure product excellence, availability, correct ordering, and stock control.Maintain high levels of food safety and health standards at all times.Work within Benugo policies and procedures.Assist with staff allocation to optimize the rota.Ensure product availability meets requirements.Use measuring tools to control stock, availability, and wastage.Understand variable costs, sales drivers, and shop P&L.Assist the site manager with weekly closing procedures.Customer ServiceProvide an excellent level of service to all customers and clients.Handle complaints or issues from the public or clients effectively.Monitor customer comments and look for improvements.Investigate complaints/comments and take corrective action where necessary.Maintain a presence on site during peak times to identify or resolve issues.Ensure speedy, friendly, and efficient service.Health & Safety (including Food Safety) / SecurityComplete all health & safety procedures and report hazards immediately.Comply with all food safety and health & safety regulations and company policies.Enforce cleanliness and sanitary practices.Identify security issues and implement solutions as needed.CommunicationMaintain professional communication with colleagues and peers.Report to senior managers to ensure compliance.Stay updated on company products, services, and procedures.Coordinate all relevant communications.Participate in strategic projects or initiatives as required.OtherMaintain punctuality, attendance, and personal presentation standards.Attend training and meetings as required.Represent the company professionally.Pursue personal development and strive for excellence.Participate in performance reviews.Adhere to all policies and safety regulations.Promote a safe environment for all.Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr
