Team Leader Registered Childrens Home Our Educational client is seeking to recruit a Team Leader to join their team to support children with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour to live safe, valued and meaningful lives. Salary: £35,630.40 per annum(based on 40 hours) Benefits 28 days annual leave (pro rata) + 12 statutory days Pension scheme & occupational sick pay Professional registration fees paid Training and development opportunities Free on-site parking & excellent transport links Annual incremental increases with length of service Enhanced weekend rates Hours & Contract: Permanent vacancy 40-hour post 20 - hour post 30-hour post The Role: As a Team Leader, you will: Provide therapeutic, child-centred care in a residential setting Lead and support staff on shift, ensuring high standards of care Work directly with children to support emotional wellbeing, behaviour management and daily living skills Contribute to care planning, safeguarding, recording and regulatory compliance Work on a rota including evenings, weekends and unsocial hours Essential Criteria: Degree in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work or related field OR Level 5 Care qualification Registered or willing to register with NISCC / NMC Minimum 1 years experience working with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour Ability to work flexibly on a rota (including sleepovers) Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills Benefits: 28 days annual leave (pro rata) + 12 statutory days Pension scheme & occupational sick pay Professional registration fees paid Training and development opportunities Free on-site parking & excellent transport links If you are interested in this position please send your CV via the link provided.
