Stafflex are currently working with a well-established manufacturing business supplying specialist products into major blue-chip and industrial customers across engineering. This is not a basic admin or order-processing role; It's a hands on, technical-leaning position where you'll support customer accounts, advise on product selection, and act as the link between customers, sales, and operations. If you're adaptable, curious, and willing to properly learn the role, this is the role for you! Key Duties: Managing and supporting a portfolio of customer accounts Handling technical enquiries where customers may need guidance on what to buy Processing enquiries, quotations, orders and specifications accurately Ensuring orders are delivered as requested and customers are kept informed Resolving issues, complaints and credits where required Supporting sales activity including cross-selling and added value opportunities Working closely with internal sales, production and technical teams Occasional customer visits alongside external sales (when required) Key Requirements: Strong communication skills (written & verbal) Calm, professional and customer-focused approach Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a reactive environment Good problem-solving and decision-making skills Well organised with strong attention to detail A genuine willingness to learn, this role takes time to master Experience Required: Manufacturing or engineering environment strongly preferred MRP / ERP systems CRM systems Reading technical drawings or dealing with machined components Full training on our clients products will be provided, including support from product specialists.
