Job Description

Technical Delivery Manager – SC Cleared – Inside IR35 SR2 is partnering with a major government department on a high-profile data transformation programme and is looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, cloud- data capabilities. This is a hands-on delivery leadership role requiring someone confident navigating multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, architecture, security, and product. You will drive secure-by-design outcomes within a sensitive environment, ensuring all delivery aligns with compliance, governance, and strategic expectations. Key Responsibilities:

\n Lead the technical delivery of new AWS-based backend data platforms.

\n

Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams (engineering, security, product, architecture).

\n

Maintain delivery governance, including risk, issue, and dependency management.

\n

Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and public sector assurance requirements.

\n

Provide clear reporting and visibility to senior stakeholders.

\n

Champion agile delivery practices within a complex delivery ecosystem.

\n

Essential Experience:

\n Active SC Clearance.

\n

Strong background in cloud and data delivery, ideally within the public sector.

\n

Proven experience managing technical delivery across AWS environments.

\n

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

\n

Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.

\n

Experience with delivery governance, including dependencies, risks, and RAID management.
