About the Company

New opening for a Technical Manager at a fine chemical manufacturing organisation. The technical manager will be responsible for overseeing Production and Development teams, driving operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement. Competitive salary up to £65,000 per annum, based on experience.

Responsibilities

Ensure safety, compliance, and a healthy work environment. Lead Production and Development teams to meet operational goals. Manage training, resource planning, and production schedules. Analyze KPIs and quality data to drive efficiency and improvements. Oversee audits, incident investigations, and customer satisfaction. Maintain and calibrate critical equipment on schedule. Integrate best practices and process improvements across the site.

Qualifications

Proven leadership experience in operations or development in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry. Proficiency in ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and Office 365. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Project management and experience with GC, HPLC, FTIR, KF, and Six Sigma tools.
