Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Audio Visual & Technical Solutions)

Key Responsibilities
Client Liaison & Quotation Development: Understand and interpret client briefs, providing commercially viable and technically sound quotations in a timely manner.
Client Communication: Work closely with clients ahead of events, ensuring all necessary details are covered and we are fully prepared to deliver exceptional results.
AV Installations Management: Oversee the smooth execution of AV installations both pre‑show and on‑site, ensuring the highest quality and exceeding client expectations.
Project Cost Control: Manage project costs to ensure high profit margins while maintaining exceptional quality and client satisfaction.
Virtual Studio Management: Support the management of the Virtual Studio, ensuring proper scheduling and documentation protocols are followed.
Timeline Creation: Develop project timelines for both client‑facing and internal use to ensure all key deadlines are met.
On‑Site Leadership: Lead the on‑site management of crew, external contractors, and equipment as needed.
Health & Safety Oversight: Ensure all health and safety standards are met and that necessary briefings are held for on‑site teams.
Post‑Event Reviews: Organise post‑event reviews to evaluate operational performance, assess profitability, and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
Client Support: Provide additional on‑site client support as needed to ensure smooth event delivery.
Logistics Coordination: Liaise with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure event preparation schedules and kit loading processes are handled efficiently.
Travel & Accommodation Coordination: Ensure the logistics team is fulfilling all travel and accommodation requirements for staff and crew.
Administrative Support: Oversee the timely completion of office administration related to project management, ensuring efficiency at every stage.
Business Development: Engage with clients and stakeholders to help grow existing accounts and seek new business opportunities in the marketplace.
Client Focus: Ability to interpret clients’ needs and build strong relationships to deliver services that exceed expectations.
Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills across all levels, ensuring clear, concise, and accurate messaging to all parties involved.
Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and delegate appropriately in a fast‑paced environment.
Initiative & Innovation: Identifies new opportunities, proactively suggesting improvements to operations and workflows.
Influencing & Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams, influence key stakeholders, and command respect.
Commercial Awareness: Solid understanding of business operations and the ability to balance cost, quality, and profitability in project delivery.

Experience in Defence & Aerospace: Previous project management experience within the air and defence sector, or a similar highly regulated industry, is essential.
Corporate Experience: Experience managing large‑scale, high‑profile corporate events, conferences, and exhibitions.
AV/Technical Solutions: A strong background in managing audio‑visual and technical installations for live events or exhibitions.
Project Management: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.
Health & Safety Compliance: Knowledge of and experience with health and safety standards, especially in the event or technical installations sector.
