KeyResponsibilities
Leadtheend-to-enddeliveryofnetworkanddatacentreinfrastructureprojects,includingLAN/WANupgrades,datacentremigrations,andinfrastructuremodernisationinitiatives.
Manageprojectsinvolvingcorenetworkinfrastructurecomponentssuchasrouting,switching,firewalls,loadbalancers,cabling,andconnectivityservices.
Developandmaintaindetailedprojectplans,schedules,budgets,dependencies,andriskregistersinlinewithcorporategovernanceanddeliveryframeworks.
Coordinatecross-functionalteamsspanningnetwork,datacentre,cloud,security,andapplicationstakeholderstoensurecohesiveandalignedexecution.
Overseedatacentretechnologiesincludingracksandstacking,structuredcabling,powerandcoolingconsiderations,networkfabrics,andinter-datacentreconnectivity.
Managethird-partyvendors,carriers,andserviceproviderstoensuredeliveryagainstcontractual,technical,andoperationalrequirements.
Leadthemigrationanddecommissioningoflegacynetworkandinfrastructureenvironments,ensuringminimaldisruptiontobusinessoperations.
Maintainoversightofinfrastructureenvironmentsthatmayincludevirtualisedplatforms,ensuringalignmentwithoverallnetworkanddatacentredesign.
Provideregularstatusreporting,issuemanagement,andexecutive-levelcommunicationstokeystakeholders.
Contributetothedevelopmentoflong-termnetworkanddatacentreinfrastructurestrategiesalignedwithorganisationalandcustomerobjectives.
SkillsandExperience
SeniorPMwithprovenexperiencemanagingtechnicalnetworkmigrationprojects.
Demonstratedsuccessindeliveringdatacentremigrations,consolidations,orhybrid/cloudtransitionprogrammes.
Strongtechnicalunderstandingofservers,storage,networking,virtualisation,andcloudplatforms(AWS,Azure,orGCP).
Experienceworkingwithinstructuredgovernanceframeworksandmanagingcomplexstakeholderenvironments.
SolidgraspofITILprocesses,servicetransition,andchangemanagementbestpractices.
Excellentleadership,communication,andpresentationskills,withtheabilitytoengagebothtechnicalandnon-technicalaudiences.
ProficiencyinprojectmanagementtoolssuchasMSProject,Jira,orSmartsheet.
Professionalcertificationinprojectmanagement(e.g.,PMP,PRINCE2,orAgileScrumMaster)preferred.
Allsuccessfulcandidateswillneedtogothoroughbackgroundcheck.
