With over 50 years’ industry experience, my client is a leader in advanced solutions for tomorrow’s technologies. The company’s portfolio spans interconnect, sensors, communications, photonics, imaging, magnetic components, power supplies, and embedded computing.
As the Technical Sales Manager (Sensors), you are responsible for the business development activities of the Sensor and EMECH products throughout the UK, from technical to commercial account management. Additionally the employee would need to identify new customers, and grow the existing customer base to increase product sales in line with budgeted sales targets, build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing customers, follow up and develop business leads, provide reports and attend regular meetings with management, successfully negotiate, implement and manage contracts and winning orders, provide accurate and detailed feedback, participate in exhibitions and sales meetings.
What we would like from the Technical Sales Manager (Sensors):
Engineering/Electronics Degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge of key sensor products, technologies, solutions and applications
Understanding of EMECH products (push buttons, microswitches, touchscreens, power and interconnect products)
Sales and margin to budget responsibility
Successful track record in technical sales/FAE positions
Design IN experience
