Job Overview:
Working alongside our client, a leading and established injection mould machine tool supplier, we are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join their team to drive continued business growth. Remit: This position will suit an experienced Sales / Business Development professional with a background in injection moulding manufacturing The right Technical Sales Manager
MUST HAVE
an in-depth understanding of injection moulding machinery, injection moulding processes and ancillary equipment In the role of Technical Sales Manager you will identify and develop sales opportunities, working with new and existing customers in order to improve recognition of the company brand, grow sales and develop the company strategy in line with set goals Role: Planning and prioritising sales activities and prospect contacts, in order to achieve agreed sales and new business targets Making sales calls to understand the demands and needs of customers Completion of customer information into company databases to be completed weekly Develop new and innovative ways of meeting customer needs Travel to meet with potential customers face to face Proactively reach out to prospects, maintain and nurture a healthy client relationship whilst maximising sales with high level of customer satisfaction A consultative sales approach with individual sales presentations Prepare accurate quotes for customers in a timely fashion, ensuring all quotations meet minimum profit margins as determined by the business Staying aware at all times of industry and market developments and the potential opportunities available to target Attendance at key regional /national events/conferences/ to support customers and build relationships Liaise with the customer to arrange a delivery date, realistically managing the customers expectations Responsible for identifying customer issues identified and feedback to appropriate internal function for resolution Ensuring the vehicle visiting customers is clean and road worthy Ensure compliance with H&S legislation Ensuring the Risk Assessment for the job is accurate and complete. Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical sales capacity Experience of building new customer relationships and creating new sales opportunities Strong commercial awareness, an understanding of the sector and company marketplace In-depth understanding of injection moulding machinery and ancillary equipment In depth understanding of the injection moulding process Full UK driving licence Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications with the ability to enter and analyse data within Excel Experience with CRM systems Ambitious, goal oriented, dedicated and with a can do attitude towards work Excellent networking, communication and influencing skills Strong negotiation skills Ability to build effective team relationships Key Words: Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Injection Moulding, Plastics, Injection Moulding Machinery, Business Development FOOTER Due to the sheer volume of applications we receive we will only contact successful applications that meet the requirements of our client job brief.
