This role focuses on managing and growing key customer accounts, identifying new selling opportunities, and strengthening cross-selling initiatives within the wider Brenntag business.You will act as a trusted commercial and technical partner to customers, combining deep product knowledge with strong relationship management to deliver sustainable growth.**Responsibilities****Sales & Account Management*** Maximise sales and profit growth within assigned key accounts and territory* Serve customer needs by developing a deep understanding of each account’s strategy, requirements, and market dynamics* Identify, manage, and convert new selling opportunities* Negotiate and close deals, including final pricing agreements**Key Account Strategy & Collaboration*** Manage local key account relationships and act as the primary commercial contact* Align and communicate closely with regional and global Key Account Owners on strategy, planning, and reporting* Develop and maintain comprehensive key account knowledge (e.g. customer strategy, market position, future needs)**Business Development*** Develop new business opportunities, including cross-selling automotive products into broader Brenntag channels* Build strong working relationships with regional LMSOs to expand product reach and customer penetration**Reporting & Administration*** Complete all relevant reporting, CRM updates, and administrative tasks accurately and on time* Ensure visibility of account performance and pipeline activity to internal stakeholders**Learning & Development*** Continuously expand product and market knowledge through structured training and self-development* Stay current with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and customer needs**Your Profile*** In-depth technical knowledge of AdBlue, lubricants, and coolants* Proven industry experience within automotive, industrial, or related markets* Strong track record in key account management and B2B sales* Confident negotiator with experience closing high-value commercial agreements* Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong internal and external relationships* Strategic mindset with strong commercial awareness* Excellent communication and presentation skills* Results-driven, self-motivated, and customer-focused* Comfortable working independently while collaborating within a matrix organisationBrenntag provides equal employment opportunities to qualified applicants and employees of all backgrounds and identities to create a workplace where difference is valued because it forms a resilient and more innovative organization.
