This pivotal, national role is responsible for delivering excellence in hard services across a varied UK‑wide portfolio, covering the South of England.What You’ll DoOversee hard services delivery and statutory compliance across the national portfolioManage outsourced maintenance contracts and internal engineering teamsMaintain and optimise the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule based on SFG20 and manufacturers’ guidanceSupport area managers with PPM and remedial worksReview and validate quotes, method statements, and risk assessmentsManage helpdesk and CAFM functionsLead and develop engineering teams to deliver high‑quality service in line with H&S and statutory requirementsAct as the Authorised Person for Electrical Works, providing technical assurance and leadershipDrive supplier performance through regular reviews and continuous improvementSupport future planning and infrastructure strategiesWhat You’ll Bring5+ years’ experience in Facilities Management, covering both hard and soft servicesRecognised engineering qualificationAuthorising Engineer/Authorised Person in M&E disciplinesStrong knowledge of statutory compliance, PPM planning, and energy utilisationExperience managing technical teams and contractors nationallyIBOSH qualificationProficiency in Microsoft Office and CAFM systemsDesirableFormal project management qualification (e.g. Prince2, APM)NEBOSH qualificationMembership of a relevant professional body (IET, CIBSE, etc.)Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgetsProven success in leading change management initiativesReady to take the lead in a role where your expertise will make a real difference?
