Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant

Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting our client in Cleckheaton to recruit an organised and detail-focused Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant for an ongoing temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy finance team and support essential transactional processes within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Sorting, verifying, posting and filing both PO and Non-PO invoices across multiple entities/countries Reconciling Statements of Account and requesting copy invoices where required Reconciling inbound goods through the ERP system and chasing outstanding invoices Matching AP balances against the General Ledger Investigating and resolving invoice/payment queries with internal and external stakeholders Supporting internal and external audits by providing relevant information Preparing payment runs as directed by the Accounts Payable Manager or Financial Controller Assisting with additional ad hoc finance tasks as needed Experience & Skills Required: Previous Accounts Payable experience preferred but not essential Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes Experience using SAP or similar ERP system is advantageous Strong communication skills, confident liaising at all levels internally and externally Effective problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel Excellent written and spoken English Additional language skills desirable If you're immediately available and interested in this opportunity, please apply today or contact Elevation Recruitment Group for further details.
