Vice President, Investment Banking – TMT Team

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our client's Investment Banking division as a Vice‑President within their TMT team. This position offers immediate exposure to large, complex transactions within the TMT team and significant responsibility from the start.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the execution of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions within the TMT sector.
  • Oversee the preparation of complex financial models, valuations, and industry analyses to support transaction recommendations.
  • Provide deep insights into trends, challenges, and opportunities across TMT sub‑sectors (e.g., software, IT services, telecom, media, digital platforms).
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and professional development.
  • Drive business development efforts by preparing and presenting pitches to prospective clients, identifying new opportunities within the TMT sector.
  • Ensure all transactions adhere to regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7-10 years of investment banking or related financial advisory experience, with a strong track record in M&A, capital raising, and strategic transactions within the TMT sector.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and transaction structuring; ability to interpret complex financial data and industry trends.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead deal teams, manage multiple work‑streams, and mentor junior professionals in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Client Management: Strong relationship‑building skills and experience engaging with senior executives, corporate clients, and private equity stakeholders in TMT.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Analytical Ability: High attention to detail, strategic thinking, and ability to solve complex problems under tight deadlines.
  • Global Mindset: Comfort working on cross‑border transactions and collaborating with international teams across diverse markets.
