Tool Maker Salary: £37,479 - £42,841 plus excellent shift allowance! Do you have expertise in mechanical fitting, machining, and tool making? If so, this may be the opportunity for you! Our company, based in Plymouth, is currently seeking a skilled Tool Maker to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Utilise your experience and knowledge of mechanical fitting, machining, and tool making to design and fabricate new jigs and tooling. Perform repairs and maintenance on existing jigs, fixtures, and machine parts. Use your expertise in CNC lathe, CNC mill, surface grinding, CAD, wire eroder, and tig/jig welding to carry out various tasks. Work closely with the production team to ensure that all tooling and fixtures are in top condition and meet production standards. Assist with the development of new processes and continuously improve existing ones to enhance efficiency and productivity. Monitor the overall quality of work and identify any issues that may arise.
