The Role A fantastic opportunity for someone to start their career as a Paraplanner.
The Trainee Paraplanner will work alongside experienced Paraplanners in actively supporting Wealth Planners in a successful and highly reputable wealth management business. This role will offer the opportunity to sit Financial Planning exams.
The Trainee Paraplanner will undertake research, based on the information gathered by the Wealth Planner to enable the Wealth Planner to recommend a suitable solution to meet the clients needs and objectives with a positive outcome.
The Trainee Paraplanner will undertake accurate calculations and cash-flow modelling and prepare suitability reports and letters for the Wealth Planners to provide their recommendation to clients.
The Trainee Paraplanner will ensure that drafted suitability reports and other communications are clear, fair, and not misleading.
The Trainee Paraplanner will draft and co-ordinate technical documents and research for client presentation.
The Trainee Paraplanner, when undertaking research or preparing suitability reports, will proactively identify areas of potential future advice.
The Trainee Paraplanner will support the wider team to work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver good client outcomes.
The Candidate Ideally a 2.1 Graduate within an interest in wealth Management / Financial Planning. Commitment to achieve RQF level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) - exams will be supported. Understand the Regulatory and Compliance requirements and processes relevant for your role and follow them and escalate areas of concern or issue in a timely manner.
