Role Responsibilities (Once trained)
Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Workshop Engineering courses. (Machining, Lathe, CNC, Hand fitting etc) Plan, prepare and assess learning activities to support student progression and achievement. Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring content aligns with current industry standards. Support students in developing their technical skills and employability prospects. Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. Develop employer partnerships to enhance student learning opportunities and industry engagement.
Essential Requirements
A minimum Level 3 qualification in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline. Extensive industry experience in Workshop Engineering. A teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, or PTTLS) or willingness to work towards one. Strong communication and organisational ...
