Bennett and Game are currently working with one of the UK's most respected privately owned International Courier & Haulage companies who are actively seeking a proven Transport Manager to manage their Night Shift operation based in their Hemel Hempstead location. This is a hands-on Night Shift Transport Manager vacancy where a valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV Licence is essential to lead from the front and assist and manage drivers. Transport Manager Position Overview Oversee all night operations taking place Improve the efficiency of the operations and overall management Assist with driving (when required) Ensure compliance is being followed at all times Manage relationships with sub-contractors Prepare annual budgets Perform HR duties such as recruiting, scheduling and disciplinaries Transport Manager Position Requirements Class 2 or 1 HGV License - Essential Previous experience working in the courier logistics sector (Desirable) Experience in a senior management position Willing to be hands on & aid in other areas of the depot when needed Managers CPC (Desirable) Transport Manager Position Remuneration Salary £40K - £50K DOE Company pension scheme 5 in 2-night shift (weekend work w...
