Transport Planner / Operations Support based in Warrington

Overview Our Irish Distribution client are looking for a Transport Planner who is also willing to get involved in wider warehouse and operational activities.

This role suits someone who wants variety, responsibility and the opportunity to grow within a fast-growing company.

The working hours are 09:30 - 18:30

Responsibilities :

- Plan and coordinate daily transport routes - Ensure vehicles are routed efficiently and cost-effectively - Communicate clearly with drivers and internal departments - Monitor deliveries and respond quickly to any issues - Support warehouse operations when required - Assist other departments during busy periods - Participate in cross-training across different areas of the business

Skills & Experience Required :

- Previous transport planning experience essential - Strong geographical knowledge - Good organisational and problem-solving skills - Good communication skills - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks - Willingness to learn new skills - Ability to use your own initiative - Positive attitude and desire to grow and develop - We are looking for someone flexible, proactive and ready to take ownership of their role while supporting the wider team.
