Trauma Counsellor - Various Locations East Kent Location: East Kent Salary: £27,000 per annum plus benefits Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time Closing Date: 28 Jul 2025 Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of individuals affected by substance misuse? Join our dedicated team working within an integrated healthcare framework to support adults (18+) experiencing drug and alcohol challenges. We are seeking a Trauma Informed Therapist to provide vital support through evidence based psychosocial interventions. Youll work directly with service users who present with complex needs and histories of trauma, helping them to rebuild their lives in a safe, supportive, and empowering environment. Key Responsibilities : Deliver one on one counselling to adults with drug and/or alcohol issues using recognised therapeutic approaches such as EMDR, CBT, and other trauma informed models. Provide tailored support to a caseload of clients with diverse and often complex needs. Maintain a minimum of 5 direct contact hours per working day Contribute to the development and delivery of high quality psychosocial interventions Ensure continuity of care by working flexibly across services within East Kent, as required.
