Overview Home‑Start South Warwickshire is seeking aTreasurer Trustee to join our Board and help guide the charity’s strategic and financial direction. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to families in your local community. We are a small, local charity providingearly‑intervention, family-focused support to parents and carers with young children. Through trained volunteers and staff, we offer practical, emotional and non‑judgemental support in homes and the community, helping families build confidence, strengthen relationships and improve outcomes for children. Role Highlights Role Highlights – Treasurer Trustee: As Treasurer Trustee, you will play a pivotal role in the financial governance of the charity, ensuring its long-term sustainability while supporting the Chair and fellow trustees in strategic decision-making.

Strong understanding of financial management and accounting principles Ability to contribute to the strategic direction of a charity Clear communication skills to explain financial matters to fellow trustees

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the charity’s financial affairs and monitor its financial health Ensure financial risk is effectively managed and that budgets align with both short- and long-term strategic objectives

Time Commitment The Trustee Board meets quarterly. You’ll typically spend2–3 hours per month, with slightly more time required during board meetings and for essential financial oversight tasks.
