Reporting into theHead of Network Development and Training, you will foster a Daimler Truck dedicated network by providing data, intelligence, and guidance to both office and field based team members.

Setup Management
- Complete Due Diligence on current and potential new partners.
- Management of mergers or start-ups in close cooperation with Network Development Manager.
- Cross-functional coordination for creation and adjustment of processes and policies on network development topics.
- Collaborate with both Network Monitoring Specialist and Network Development Managers as well as counterparts with Daimer Truck UK / Daimer Truck Head Quarters.
Truck Standard Management
- BER Standards are translated into plain English in alignment with Daimer Truck UK and Daimer Truck HQ functions.
- Policies are shaped around the minimum standards for the dealer network.
- Latest Standards are published for internals and externals.
Industry Intelligence
- Supporting the Executive Team with the delivery of information to the dealer network and Daimer Truck AG by way of presentation materials and reports ensuring the consistency and accuracy of data; Collaborate with the wider Daimer Truck UK / Daimer Truck Financial Services team to ensure reporting meets their needs as well as sources.
- Research and analysis on activities of competitors (existing and new): locations, size, services, financial strength, coverage, attractiveness etc. (based on publicly available information).
- Intelligence management for team and wider business incl. accountability to updating information on dealers (ExtraNet etc.) as well as managing request by business.
- Align findings with both Network Monitoring Specialist and Network Development Managers as well as counterparts in Sales and Customer Services and Parts.
- Create reports if necessary to senior management to represent current status.
Daimler Truck Franchise Attractiveness
- Working with the respective District Managers teams and the Network development Managers, ensure the maintenance of accurate staff databases, operating management selection and screening processes and driving the dealer facility development process.
- Develop and maintain tools to simulate potentials of market areas and services.
- Analyse costs and effort to franchise in comparison with its benefits; create business plan for potential changes and newcomers.
- Analyse truck dedicated processes within dealer network, new potential services within service network to create higher customers satisfaction and financial viability of franchisees.
Reporting and Projects
- Produce reports on current activity status with dealer network in respective platforms
- Manage special projects within department to ensure its positive development and improvement.
Qualifications
About you
- Graduate or equivalent.
- Good understanding of dealership operations.
- Experience in the (commercial) automotive industry preferred.
- Analytical ability to highlight and interpret key trends, processes, complex operational, and financial KPI’s.
- Organisational skills for processes and data.
- Proficient in OptiNet preferred.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programmes, with strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Proficient in PowerBI.
- Commercial acumen and experience.
- Ability to deal with all levels within an organisation.
This is a full time hybrid role, where you would be required to work form our head office based in Milton Keynes a minimum of two days a week in the office.
