OCEM Ltd is a rapidly growing Outreach Tutoring Provision, working primarily across the Home Counties. We are expanding at pace and are seeking self-employed tutors to work on an outreach basis, providing 1:1 tuition in Hampshire and the South East of England. It would be beneficial to have experience working with young people, but not essential, as training will be provided. **You must have a current enhanced DBS to apply for this position, or willing to apply for one** The positions are for up to 15 hours per week, per student, with a maximum of 2 students per tutor. You will be required to undertake online training, including Safeguarding. Owning your own car would be advantageous, but not essential, as there are good transport links. Duties:

Plan and implement engaging and effective lessons for the student Work 1:1 with the student to provide literacy, numeracy, and mentorship Communicate with parents and the line manager to ensure the best possible outcomes for the student Create a positive and supportive learning environment Provide sickness cover Write brief daily reports Qualifications: Experience working with children and young people with SEMH in similar settings e.g. PRUs, alternative provisions, and specialist provisions, would be beneficial.
