NextGen Teachers is working with a specialist SEMH secondary school in Redhill to find a confident and resilient Tutor / Unqualified Teacher to join their team after Easter.

This is an excellent opportunity to step into teaching with no planning required, delivering structured lessons to students new to the school, with the potential for the role to extend or become permanent.

The Role

Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 curriculum Support new pupils with SEMH needs to engage in learning Build positive relationships and promote student confidence and progress Work closely with a supportive team, receiving ongoing guidance and mentoring

Ideal Candidates

Graduates considering a career in teaching Cover supervisors ready to step up into teaching roles Tutors / intervention specialists Teaching Assistants / HLTAs with strong behaviour management Candidates with experience supporting SEMH or additional needs

What You'll Need

Experience working with young people (schools, tutoring, youth work) Strong classroom presence and communication skills A patient, positive, and resilient approach Ability to engage and motivate students with additional needs
