Job Description
A globally established, engineering-led manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for precision, quality, and technical leadership is seeking a UK Sales Manager to lead its commercial operation.\n\nThis organisation designs and supplies mission-critical motion and linear technology solutions used by some of the most demanding industries worldwide. With deep in-house engineering capability, a strong UK footprint, and a customer base built on long-term partnerships rather than transactional sales, the business is entering its next phase of growth across the UK.\n\nThe role represents a genuine blend of leadership and high-value account management. You will take full responsibility for managing and developing a team of field-based sales engineers across the UK, while also retaining direct ownership of a portfolio of strategically important, multi-million-pound customer accounts.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\n * \n\n Leading, coaching, and developing a team of technically focused sales engineers, driving performance, structure, and consistency across the UK\n\n * \n\n Managing key accounts with significant annual revenues, acting as the senior commercial interface for long-term customers\n\n * \n\n Shaping and executing UK sales strategy in alignment with wider European and global objectives\n\n * \n\n Working closely with engineering, applications, and technical support teams to deliver value-led solutions rather than commodity sales\n\n * \n\n Identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts while opening doors into new OEM and end-user relationships\n\n * \n\n Providing accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial insight to senior leadership\n\nThe business supports customers across a wide range of sectors, including but not limited to:\n\n * \n\n Automation and factory automation\n\n * \n\n Robotics and mechatronics\n\n * \n\n Semiconductor and electronics manufacturing\n\n * \n\n Medical devices and life sciences\n\n * \n\n Aerospace and defence\n\n * \n\n Machine builders and advanced OEMs\n\nThis opportunity will suit an experienced Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, or senior Key Account Manager who has progressed through a technical sales environment and is comfortable leading people while still remaining commercially hands-on.
Experience within motion control, linear technology, automation, robotics, bearings, precision components, or related engineered products will be highly advantageous.\n\nIn return, the role offers a senior platform within a technically respected organisation, long-term career progression, and a strong commitment to continued professional development. Ongoing training, leadership development, and exposure to advanced technologies form a core part of the company’s culture, ensuring you continue to grow alongside the business.\n\nThis is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a sales function within a stable, engineering-driven organisation that values expertise, relationships, and long-term thinking over short-term wins.\n\nIf you are interested in exploring this opportunity further then please do send me across an updated copy of your cv for immediate consideration
