About The Role Forest of Dean District Council is seeking an experienced RICS Registered Valuer with strong estates management expertise to act as the Councils lead professional for valuation and estates work. This is a varied and influential role, ideal for someone looking to apply their valuation skills while shaping how a diverse property portfolio is managed. Reporting to the Property & Assets Manager, you will deliver high quality valuations for a wide range of asset types, support strategic and operational property decisions, and ensure the Councils landholdings are managed proactively and in line with best practice. Alongside valuation work, you will lead on key estates activities including lease events, landlord and tenant matters, rent reviews, lease renewals, licences, negotiations, and management of consultants.

You will prepare clear, professional reports and present informed recommendations to senior officers, committees, Cabinet and Council.

You will need...
