Van Driver - Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our Housing Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining flats, communal areas, and closes to a high standard. This role requires driving a company van to various housing properties, so a valid driving licence is essential. Key Responsibilities:

Clean void and occupied flats to a high standard

Clean communal areas including closes, stairwells, landings, and entrances

Remove litter and dispose of waste appropriately

Carry out deep cleaning tasks as required

Report any maintenance issues or health & safety concerns

Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly

Drive a company van to travel between properties

Ensure cleaning schedules are completed within required timeframes

Requirements:

Full, valid UK driving licence (essential)

Ability to drive a van confidently and safely

Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Good understanding of health & safety practices

Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks

8am - 4:30pm £12.21 per hour
