*About the Role*

Shetland Powder Coatings & Autobody Repair is seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Body Repair & Paint Technician to join our workshop team.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in developing and growing an established workshop within Malakoff, serving both the local Shetland community and commercial clients.

We are looking for someone with solid experience in vehicle body repair and/or spray painting, ideally with multi-skilled capability across both areas.

*The Workshop*

Our facility includes:

· Dedicated vehicle spray booth

· Powder coating booth

· Large kerosene industrial oven

· Blast room

· Established customer base with strong local reputation

We are expanding our body repair and paint services to meet steady local demand.

*Key Responsibilities*

· Vehicle body repair (panel work, preparation, refinishing)

· Spray painting and finishing to a high standard

· Maintaining safe and organised workshop practices

· Contributing to workflow planning and job management

· Supporting growth of the body repair function within the workshop

Depending on experience, there is scope for the successful applicant to take on a senior / supervisory role within the workshop.

*About You*

Essential:

· Proven experience in vehicle body repair and/or spray painting

· Ability to work independently and to a high standard

· Strong attention to detail

· Good organisational skills

Desirable:

· Multi-skilled across both repair and paint

· Experience working in small workshop environments

· Interest in helping shape and grow a developing service
