Staffpower Group are delighted to be working with our client who are looking for a skilled and reliable Vehicle Painter to join our busy workshop team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality automotive finishes. You will play a key role in restoring vehicles to their original condition while meeting industry and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
Mix and match paint colours accurately to manufacturer specifications
Apply coatings using spray guns and other painting equipment
Ensure high-quality finishes with attention to detail and consistency
Inspect completed work and carry out touch-ups where necessary
Maintain and clean painting tools and equipment
Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures
Work effectively within a team to meet deadlines and productivity targets
Requirements
Proven experience as a Vehicle Painter or in a similar automotive role
Knowledge of paint systems, colour matching, and refinishing techniques
Skilled in using spray equipment and body shop tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good organisational and time management skills
Awareness of health and safety practices in a workshop environment
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
