Are you an experienced GSE/HGV or vehicle tech looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Workshop Supervisor to ensure the maintenance and repair of vehicles and plant equipment to the highest standard.\nRoles and Responsbilities\n * Repair vehicles and plants as requested by the Workshop Supervisor\n * Carry out inspections, brake and smoke tests and show all defects to the Workshop Supervisor before commencing with any repairs or booking out any parts\n * Diagnose and inform the Workshop Supervisor of all work and parts required before commencing job\n * Job card/inspection sheet must be completed correctly to current point of repair and handed to the Workshop Supervisor at the end of each day’s shift.

All non-productive time is also to be added to the correct job card for authorisation by the Workshop Supervisor\n * Label parts and put them onto correct shelves, e.g. warranty or exchange unit\n * Quarantine, label and report all defective tooling immediately to the site Workshop Supervisor\n * Report any defective items immediately to the Workshop Supervisor\nExperience and Qualifications\n * Motor Mechanics – LGV\n * City & Guilds Level 3 in motor mechanics\n * Forklift (desirable)\n * Operational vehicle/logistical background\n * Experience of working in a customer focused environment\n * Experience in the vehicle maintenance sector\nHours\n * Monday to Friday 630am till 3pm\nBenefits\n * Competitive salary\n * 6% employer pension contribution\n * 3X Salary Life Assurance\n * Health Cash Plan\n * Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)\n * Private medical insurance
