An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within an Independent Garage, located in Castle Donington - Derbyshire.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Long Service AwardsDuties include but are not limited to:

Conducting Servicing/Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
Tyre Fitting & General Inspections
Adhering to both Manufacturer & Health & Safety Guidelines
Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
Documenting information about Servicing & Repairing – ensuring it meets company policies.Requirements:

At least a Level 2 Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent.
Dedicated and committed approach.
Prior working experience as a Vehicle Technician in a workshop, or similar environment.
Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
You should have your own tools.
Full UK Driving LicenceThe salary of this role is up to £36,000 basic with OTE of £38,000.

Hours of work in this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday (08:00 – 17:30), with no weekends.
