Up to £65,000 DOE + attractive benefits

Full-time / Permanent – 40 hours per week

Our well-established veterinary hospital on the outskirts of Leeds is seeking a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon with a surgical bias to join our friendly and experienced team. This role offers the perfect balance of routine and non-routine surgery alongside excellent facilities and a strong clinical support network.


You’ll be based at a purpose-built Tier 3 hospital, working alongside experienced vets, certificate holders, and a dedicated ECC night team—meaning no out-of-hours responsibilities, with only some contribution to weekend day cover.


This position would suit a Veterinary Surgeon who already holds a Surgical Certificate or is working towards one.

The practice group is a high-quality primary care and referral provider with 8 clinics across South and West Yorkshire, including a 24/7 hospital on the outskirts of Leeds. Services include:

Requirements

  • Veterinary degree registrable in the UK (MRCVS)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Surgical interest essential (certificate desirable)
  • Positive, proactive, and organised approach

Based on the outskirts of Leeds, West Yorkshire, with easy access to Leeds city centre and surrounding areas.
