We are managedat a local level by our Clinical Director of 16 years, Practice Manager and supported by 2 amazing Senior Vets. We maintain a family feel where patients and our people are at our heart of everything we do. As a Veterinary Surgeon, we canoffer a salary of up to £75k DOE plus a wide range of benefits.

Who are we?

Based in Newcastle under Lyme, close to the town centre, wehave a caseload that allows our teams to develop! The team at Friarswood comes with a varied skill level, where everyone really has the chance to shine. Where required, we make use of visiting specialists to keep the experience in house with an aim to grow and develop talent within our team. This also helps keep our clients bonded and allows us that continuity of care.

Wehave laparoscopic kit, brand new digital x-ray, dental x-ray with processor and lots of other bits and bobs to make day to day life and work up of your cases easier. All supported by an experienced and supportive nursing team. Our wider team consists of 2 Senior Vets, cert holders in medicine & dentistry, along with nurses working on their certifications. We also offer acupuncture. So, there is plenty of support in those areas.

Development of our people is important, and we'd be keen to support you with any areas of interest. Anyone looking at or working on a surgical certificate would complement the team very well. We are blessed to be supported by an OOH provider and have no Sunday or Bank Holiday working.

Our Rota and working options:

Our Veterinary Surgeon vacancy is currently full-time, but happy to discuss part timearrangements or even FTC.Our full time vets prefer working 4 days a week, but we are open to ideas that suit you! An hour for lunch and some admin time is given daily. Our vets do work Saturday mornings on a rota basis. You may sometimes have to work between our Sandbach and Alsager practices to cover holidays etc.
