They are now recruiting for a newly-created role at VP-level within Regulatory Policy,to support the EMEA Head of Regulatory Policy to maintain the prudential regulatory policy framework across the EMEA region and promote an appropriate consistency of policy decisions, with a primary focus on regulatory interpretation on prudential matters relevant to Finance.The role would offer variety of coverage, good work-life balance, excellent career development opportunities, and a positive working environment.

Profile Criteria:

1. 1. Professional qualification like an ACA / ACCA and a university degree / Accountancy or Risk related discipline desirable
   2. Banking or wider financial services sector experience essential (also open to those coming from a specialist Regulation division / department from a Big 4 or chartered accountancy practice)
   3. Can be in a policy role, regulatory reporting role (with an genuine interest and some knowledge of policy) or in a regulatory consultancy / advisory position (from a Big 4 or chartered accountancy practice)
   4. Prudential regulatory knowledge
   5. Strong history of managing stakeholders at various levels including front office
   6. Knowledge of and exposure to banking and capital markets products

Responsibilities / Tasks:

Support the EMEA Head of Regulatory Policy in maintaining the Regulatory Interpretations Policy and compliance with the policy, including the efficient running of the Interpretation Forum and associated processes and ensuring appropriate consistency of policy decisions within the EMEA.

Support the initial analysis and dissemination of the regulatory development items to the respective stakeholders.

Provide policy analysis and support on the implication of new products to the Regulatory Reporting teams and other policy support as and when required.
