Through our unique ideas and talents, together we help make money work for the world. Were seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Business Development to join our Global Clearing team. This role is located in London, United Kingdom - HYBRID
Be responsible for deal origination for the Global Clearing Platform in EMEA, acting in compliance with all BNY policies and procedures.
Will be assigned a specific New Business target for each financial year which will act as the key benchmark for annual performance.
Drive deal structure and terms to optimize outcomes for both the client and the Firm, including by assessing and mitigating risks where necessary.
Negotiate with prospective clients on contracts, including fees and pricing, in partnership with Legal and Product teams.
Develop and execute on the Business Development strategy for Global Clearing in co-ordination with Senior Management.
Able to travel as required, including attending industry events and conferences.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
~ Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
~7-10 years of work experience, preferably in Business Development in Financial Services. Ideal candidate would have experience in Securities Finance, Liquidity Solutions, Securities Clearance and/or Prime Brokerage.
