It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or required skills.Own the overall strategy and roadmap for technology and customer‑facing products, enabling Engineering teams to deliver effective solutions faster and improve system stability and performance.Provide clear thought leadership and strategic insight to the team and the rest of the organization on product strategy and roadmap.Track progress, assess risks, coordinate delivery, and actively communicate contingency and mitigation plans for the team.Guide the prioritization of initiatives as the team scales.Lead and grow a team of amazing Product Managers, helping them do the best work of their careers.Help drive the Product Management practice and culture in how we work and the design of the organization.Work cross‑functionally with Executives, Operations, and Legal to ensure their objectives are met, opinions are considered, and plans are communicated.Accomplish work objectives through leading and supervising other Toptal team members within the function or subfunction.Establish objectives and initiatives for the team, recommend structure and job organization, and oversee work.Coach and mentor team members, conduct performance reviews, and implement improvement plans if needed.Apply system‑analyst techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or systems functional specifications.First WeekGet up to speed with organizational frameworks such as OKRs, RACIs, and operational practices.Onboard and integrate into Toptal while independently studying the technology product suite.First MonthBecome acquainted with the product area, product goals, and key partners.Work cross‑functionally with Product Managers to refine product strategy, organize and prioritize high‑level roadmap and backlog.Start collaborating closely with Product teams.First Three MonthsDevelop a strong understanding of how Product Management and related external functions work together.Take full ownership of the technology products domain, its strategy, and roadmap.Garner the trust of peers and close collaborators.First Six MonthsBuild a world‑class team of Product Managers.Inspire and mentor the teams you work with.Uplevel the team’s ability to brainstorm, collaborate, and execute materially.Chart a clear path for scaling the team and output of technical Product Management.First YearDeliver on roadmap priorities and promises.Ensure your team has an incredible record of building impactful products timely and elegantly.Scale your team to meet growing business and user needs.Qualifications and Job RequirementsA bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Economics).At least 10 years of proven software Product Management experience.At least 3 years of experience leading Product Managers.Prior experience as a Software Engineer is a strong plus.Knowledge of AI product development processes is a plus.Comfortable working with SQL or spreadsheets for data analysis and research.Creatively craft solutions through data and a user‑centric approach.Meticulous with a high quality bar for user stories, technical approaches, and feature testing.Humble, willing to learn, and proactive in helping achieve goals.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Experience with agile development methodologies and globally distributed teams.Ability to handle a fast‑paced, rapidly growing company and diverse challenges.World‑class individual contributor; not just a task engineer.Seniority LevelExecutiveEmployment TypeFull‑timeJob FunctionProduct Management and MarketingIndustriesTechnology, Information and Internet #J-18808-Ljbffr
