As a Warehouse Cleaner, you’ll be a vital part of our team – ensuring our warehouse is spotless throughout the day. You’ll report to the Warehouse Operations/Distribution & Recycling Department Shift Leader. With a motivated team, you’ll keep all areas of the warehouse clean and tidy – from the loading bays to the car parks. In return, we’ll give you a competitive salary based on equal opportunity and pay structures, as well as a generous benefits package designed to support your well-being and life outside of Lidl.With the right training, we’ll help you thrive in your role and champion you to succeed in your career here.Cleaning all warehouse areas, including the floors, fixtures, fittings, and mopping up spillagesRemoving and disposing waste packaging from the warehouse floor to minimise trip hazardsEnsuring ‘clean as you go’ stations are stocked e.g. tissue roll, hazard signsClearing all fire exits of blockages and litterEmptying the recycling stations and moving them to the Recycling areasConfidently operate cleaning machineryProactively make sure that hygiene and Health and Safety standards are met at all timesWhat you'll need
Have a keen eye and attention to detailExperience in cleaning or maintenance (beneficial but not essential)Ensuring compliance with Corporate Code of Conduct and Principles Follow internal guidelines and standardsBe flexible in your work and open to executing individual tasks (including picking) if necessaryWhat you'll receive
