Streamline Recruitment are partnering with a well-established client in Essex who are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. You will oversee daily operations while driving process improvements, efficiency, team development, and health & safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage a team of 30 staff across two sites (including travel in Europe), overseeing daily pick, pack, returns, and inbound/outbound operations.

* Manage appraisals, one-to-ones, performance reviews, and disciplinary processes to ensure a high-performing team.

* Support warehouse managers and team leaders to maintain smooth workflows and consistent operational standards.

* Oversee operational processes and procedures, identifying improvements and driving efficiency across all sites.

* Monitor KPIs, operational metrics, and targets, providing reports and insights to senior management.

* Plan staffing levels, shifts, and resources to meet operational demand and seasonal peaks.

* Manage budgets and operational spend, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

* Analyse inventory, implement cycle counts, and reduce stock losses.

* Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies.

* Optimise warehouse layouts, storage, and picking strategies to maximise efficiency and throughput.

* Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, audits, and inspections.

* Embed a strong safety culture and manage accident investigations and corrective actions.

* Analyse operational data to inform decision-making and drive improvements

Requirements:

* Proven experience in warehouse or logistics operations management

* Strong understanding of health & safety regulations in warehouse environments

* Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

* Strong leadership and team management skills

Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 18:00

Salary: £42,000–£45,000 DOE
