Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver Location: Bury St Edmunds, IP31 Pay: £12.21 - £13.00 per hour 8am-5pm | Mon-Fri UK Driving Licence required Pin Point Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse and distribution team in Bury St Edmunds. This role is ideal for someone with forklift experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and enjoys being part of a supportive team. The Role This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business within a busy warehouse operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of warehouse duties including forklift operation, order picking, packing, and stock management. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities may vary depending on operational requirements but will typically include: * Operating a forklift safely to move stock and materials within the warehouse * Picking and packing customer orders accurately * Loading and unloading deliveries * Receiving, checking, and dispatching goods * Conducting basic goods-in and goods-out inspections * Putting stock away and maintaining organised storage areas, including pallet handling * Checking orders for accuracy before dispatch * Maintaining warehouse health and safety standards at all times * General housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe working environment * Assisting with stock rotation and inventory organisation Candidate Requirements The successful candidate will have: * A valid forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach preferred) * Previous warehouse or logistics experience * Experience with picking and packing orders * Good attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Basic computer literacy * Strong organisational skills * Good communication skills * A strong work ethic and willingness to learn Please apply with your CV via the apply button
