Warehouse Assistant & Driver

Our client are a leader in their industry and due to business growth they are looking for a Warehouse Assistant/Driver to join their team

Responsibilities

* Unloading deliveries and stocking goods

* Picking and packing orders ready for shipment

* Meeting despatch schedules and deadlines

* Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies warehouse manager

* Ensure non-conforming materials are reported to warehouse manager

* Recording any damaged/missing/faulty goods

* Adhere to the company’s recycling policies

* Maintain a clean and tidy department

* Opportunity to operate machinery

* Overtime opportunities are available

* General admin duties

Desired Skills & Experience

* Holder of a clean drivers license

* Forklift experience would be a bonus but not necessary

* Previous warehouse experience required

* Be able to communicate with customers during deliveries

* Moving and handling of goods
