Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Sheffield, Yorkshire

Salary/Benefits: £25k - £37k + Training & Benefits

A successful and busy Legionella / Water Hygiene outfit is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their growing team in the Yorkshire region. You will be conducting ACOP L8 compliance duties to agreed deadlines, whilst maintaining high standards of service. They are ideally seeking someone with good access to major travel routes (M1 / A1M / M62) for easier travel across the region. Applicants must be able to hit the ground running and will have well-rounded industry knowledge. Salaries on offer are excellent and benefits include: overtime and company vehicle.

Experience / Qualifications:

* Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer

* Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines

* Flexible to travel in line with company needs

* Good literacy and numeracy skill level

* Comfortable using IT software

The Role:

* Undertaking a wide range of ACOP L8 compliance duties across commercial, domestic and local authority sites

* Showerhead descales

* TMV servicing and failsafe checks

* Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks

* Basic flushing on outlets and pipework

* Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring

* Producing regular service reports

* Maintaining high levels of service
