Water Treatment Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to undertake water hygiene and water treatment works for a range of clients across London and the South. Responsibilities include water sampling, TMV servicing, temperature monitoring, tank cleans, disinfection of domestic services, descaling of shower heads, and closed system testing. Key Responsibilities

Perform all aspects of water hygiene and water treatment works for various water systems and treatment equipment.

Assist the Equipment Department with commissioning of water treatment equipment.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Health and Safety standards, and company codes of practice.

Maintain effective communication with the operations team and clients regarding job progress and issues.

Produce detailed reports for completed work.

Supervise and mentor less experienced engineers and graduates.

Identify opportunities for additional remedial works or new business leads.

Keep up-to-date with water hygiene practices, legislation, and water treatment products, highlighting any training needs.

Qualifications & Experience

Knowledge of water treatment plants such as water softeners, chlorine dioxide units, UV systems, and chemical dosing plants is beneficial.

Basic understanding of HSG274 and ACOP L8 desirable; full training will be provided.

Plumbing and/or electrical qualifications or experience highly desirable, but not mandatory.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Minimum O Levels/GCSEs or equivalent.

At least 2 years of practical site experience advantageous.

Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.

Full valid UK driving licence.

Additional Details
