MIG Welder Fabricator

Salary: £13.50 - £15.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

Breaks: 30 minutes unpaid

Location: LS10

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator to join a well-established and busy workshop environment.

This is a hands-on role requiring the ability to read technical drawings, fabricate components from scratch, and produce high-quality MIG welds to specification.

You will be working on a range of mild steel products, including structural and bespoke fabrications.

Key Responsibilities

* MIG welding mild steel to a high standard

* Fabricating components from engineering drawings

* Measuring, cutting, grinding, and assembling materials

* Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards

* Conducting visual inspections of welds

* Maintaining a clean and organised work area

* Working independently and as part of a team

Skills & Experience Required

* Proven experience as a MIG Welder Fabricator

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Strong fabrication and assembly skills

* Experience working with mild steel

* Good attention to detail

* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
