Welder Fabricator\n\n Hull\n\n £16.07ph\n\n⏰ 7:30 - 16:30 mon-thurs/ 7:30 - 12.30 fri (Optional OT when available)\n\n Weekly Pay\n\nWe are currently recruiting for a Welder Fabricator to join a busy and well-established manufacturing team in Hull. This role involves cutting, shaping and joining metal components by interpreting technical drawings and applying welding and finishing techniques to a range of materials including stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium.\n\nThe successful candidate will be experienced in fabrication and welding, with the ability to work accurately from engineering drawings and produce high-quality finished components.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nReading & Interpreting Designs\n\nAccurately read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams\n\nProduce fabricated components to required specifications\n\nMaterial Preparation\n\nSelect and prepare the appropriate materials for each task\n\nIdentify suitable welding procedures for different materials\n\nMetalworking\n\nCut, shape and assemble metal components using hand tools and workshop machinery\n\nWork with a variety of metals including stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium\n\nWelding\n\nJoin metal parts using welding processes such as TIG and MIG\n\nProduce strong, clean welds that meet quality standards\n\nQuality Control\n\nInspect finished welds and fabricated components\n\nUse precision measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications\n\nEquipment Operation & Maintenance\n\nSafely operate welding and fabrication equipment\n\nAssist with maintaining and calibrating workshop machinery when required\n\nFinishing\n\nGrind, smooth and polish metal surfaces after welding\n\nEnsure components meet finishing and quality standards\n\nHealth & Safety\n\nFollow strict workshop safety procedures\n\nWear appropriate PPE and maintain a safe working environment\n\nSkills & Experience Required\n\n✔ Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator\n\n✔ Strong skills in TIG and MIG welding processes\n\n✔ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings\n\n✔ Experience using metalworking tools and machinery including cutting and grinding equipment\n\n✔ Competence using precision measuring instruments\n\n✔ Good understanding of different metals and their properties\n\n✔ Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work\n\n✔ Good knowledge of health and safety procedures within a workshop environment\n\nApply now to join a skilled and supportive team producing high-quality fabricated components in a busy manufacturing environment.\n\nOur clients and their customers come from diverse backgrounds and so do we.
