The Role
Due to continued growth and increased production demand, our client is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join their skilled manufacturing team. This role offers long-term, stable employment within a supportive environment where quality workmanship is valued. The successful candidate can expect hands-on fabrication work, ongoing skills development, and the opportunity to work on repeatable, high-quality manufactured products.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabricate and assemble metal components to detailed specifications
* Carry out MIG welding and location-specific welding techniques
* Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
* Use hand tools and sheet metal equipment accurately and safely
* Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and production standards
* Work both independently and as part of a skilled manufacturing team
About You
* Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication (essential)
* Confident reading and working from engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality
* Good mechanical knowledge and basic maths skills
* Reliable, positive attitude with a strong work ethic
* Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
